Yahoo created Term Extraction Service.  In a recent discussion Yahoo was not sure if they would keep the tool, but they just announced that the tool will remain online for website creators who want to improve their Yahoo optimisation for search engine optimisation.  The tool is powered by API where they use statistical algorithms and semantic technology in order to offer a natural language.   The tool will provide keywords that can be used on websites for better results.  For those who are not web developers it can be a complicated explanation of how the tool works.

You also do not need the extreme details.  Instead you just need to know that the Term Extraction Service tool exists.  You can enter in a URL into the tool and it will pull out the most important keywords.  To use it for search engine optimisation you could put in your URL or a competitor’s to determine what keywords you want to use.   The results will be displayed in the target keyword analyser.  Typically, the results show one, two, three, and four words that can help you with your site.  The four word results are long tail keywords that can be used on your site. The strength levels are shown to tell you how powerful the words will be.
